Booking Policies

Please take time to read my policies below. Response time is 7 business days.

My experience: I am self taught and practicing for 8 years, in 2024, I began to pursue this work full time and seek a permanent studio. As I establish roots, I require new clients to do a free 30 minute consultation before their 1st appointment. I am blood borne pathogen certified (7/17/2024), CPR/First Aid Certified (5/5/2024), and covid vax (9/30/2024), and wear a mask during appointment. Client safety and comfort is my top priority! please indicate any concerns, accommodations, or needs in the booking form/before the appointment. I’m here for you!

The Space: i travel and work out of private studios. studio locations will be indicated on the form and details sent in you confirmation. if you have a mobility aid or need accommodation, please indicate in the booking form under “accommodations”
My Policies:

• Appointments are 4 hours maximum. Large pieces will require multiple sessions

• Please note that placement is important. Some areas like the neck, head, armpit, feet, and groin are areas that are more difficult to tattoo and may impact the overall cost. Note that like fingers, feet, and elbows will fade faster and need touchups

• You must be covid vaccinated or wear a mask. I have tests available, but don’t come to your appointment sick, we can reschedule!

• No culturally insensitive or appropriative material. ex. no headdresses, grills, chains on white folks, no slurs or chinese/japaneses/korean/etc characters if you don’t know what it means.

• No call, no show = no booking with me. Please give me 24 hours notice if you need to cancel. We’ll find a date to reschedule and your deposit transfers.

My Style:

• Handpoke, Machine, or both!

• Black ink, greywash, or single colors. I cannot blend colors at this time.

• chinese inkbrush, pointillism, film stills, natural elements in vivid colors, organic adornments, pet portraits in my style, matching tattoos, cartoon figures and anime, mythological figures, vietnamese block prints

• Not interested in - american traditional, watercolor, kawaii, tribal, or geometric

pricing

Sessions range from $45-$500. I prefer cash, card transactions have a 2.6% processing fee. I require a $10 deposit which goes towards the cost of your poke. do not pay until you have a confirmation! deposit can be made over paypal, venmo, cashapp or my online shop

flash: I have a book of pre-drawn flash that can be scaled up or down in size. Happy to make small alterations to custom designs. I usually repeat a design 2-3 times before replacing it. All flash has a minimum size for the quality of the design. Rates: $45/hr black, $50 color/black and gray shading, $60 full color

customs: I love customs! please be as detailed as possible in your booking form, most customs require a 30 min consultation at no extra cost. We can chat over phone, video, or in person. Rates: +$50 for drawing up the custom design, $45/hr black, $50 color/black and gray shading, $60 full color

all tattoos are a $45 minimum (includes deposits) payment is due at the end of your appointment. no surprises, you’ll receive an estimate for your tattoo with your confirmation. payment plan is available: 50% due day of appointment, 50% due 4 weeks later.

Trades, Practice Designs, and Sliding Scale

TRADES - I am thrilled to offer trades with other working class and trades people, please indicate this on the form and we will work it out. Types of trades I am interested in: Fresh fruits and veggies, bodywork, baked goods, yardwork or housekeeping, or tattoos. Please indicate this when completing the booking form

SLIDING SCALE - I offer one sliding scale appointment a month, sliding scale means the overall cost of the appointment is reduced by 25-85% based on need. I use the Green Bottle scale (see right), please indicate if you are interested when you complete the booking form.

PRACTICE DESIGNS - I recently started using a tattoo gun and looking for returning clients that are willing to let me practice new techniques. All of these designs come from royalty-free books and are not created by me. Designs are only $35 (total, yes, TOTAL) to cover the materials. You would be able to select from a book of designs, but I would have total creative control over all other elements. If you are interested, please indicate when completing the booking form
